1930s blue velvet bias cut gown.  I have shown it two ways in the photos.  I believe the intended way to wear this would've been with the opening at the back, but as you can see on the form, it fits fine either way. Bodice has a high ruffled collar that closes with a single button and loop.  The back (or front) has a keyhole opening and there is underbust/midback seaming on both sides, no waist seam.  There is no closure, the gown slips on over the head.  As it is bias cut it has give, it slipped on easily over the form who is a size 2.  I was able to easily put in on as well with larger hip and bust measurements. The original belt is present and has extra fabric on either end to let out if desired.

Gown is in good wearable condition.  Fabric and seams are sturdy, no shattering or dry rot.  There is some areas of discoloration on the skirt that I've not tried to remove.  It's not all that noticeable when worn because of the way that the skirt falls and under less harsh lighting I don't believe you'd see it.  Additionally, there are a few small mends in the skirt and the buckle has lost a few of it's stones.  All in all it presents beautifully as is. Priced accordingly.
