1940s grey rayon gabardine trench coat with copper satin lining. Padded shoulders, cuffed sleeves and pointed collar. Coat closes with a single covered top button and one small button hidden beneath the collar. There is a zipper that runs along either side but there is no catch to connect it. I'm unsure if it's simply missing or if it was to attach an additional lining. Two thread belt loops are present but the original belt is missing. I am including a vintage belt as shown in the photos which, while not a match, goes well enough with the coat.
Overall it's in nice vintage condition with some flaws. I didn't note any fading or staining but there are some pinholes, mostly at the hem and several areas of wear/abrasion. The largest area is on the shoulder and has been previously mended (see photo). Selling "as is" but it presents beautifully and flaws are not readily noticeable. Shown on a size 2 form, will fit up to a smallish medium.
