1940s postwar dress set in a lightweight navy textured faille type fabric. Top closes down the front with plastic pearl shank buttons. Small pointed collar, long sleeves and a fitted silhouette with a notched hemline. Skirt is very full at the hem and closes with a side metal zipper and single button at the waistband. Very nice condition, some minor wear commensurate with age. No underarm discoloration that I could see. The fabric has a slight sheen to it which give it a violet cast when the light moves. There is some discoloration at the back of the top but it's not very obvious, especially because of the aforementioned sheen of the fabric . There is a small area on the back of the skirt where it looks like it was taken in and then let out again, see photo.
Fits like a size xs/small, fabric does not stretch.
