1940s cotton velveteen dress in a deep cherry red. Fitted bodice has a snap front with decorative buttons and front patch pockets with cord lacing. Back has a yoke with shirring for ease. There is a separate waistband piece and side metal zipper and single snap. Additional shirring above and below waistband as well. Skirt is a line. Very nice condition with minor wear. A small scar in the skirt and a couple faint and pinhead sized spots. There is a small area of wear on the waistband. Buttons have missing stones. See photos for details of flaws. I didn't note anything obvious such as holes, fading etc. Dress waist was a bit too small for the form which cause the fit to be off slightly. There is no asymmetry in the dress itself. Fabric does not stretch so please allow for ease.
