1940s satin dressing gown in a coppery red hue. Bodice has trapunto detailing across the front. The sleeves have shirring over the shoulders and pointed collar. Raised waistline, matching waist tie and brass front zipper closure. The skirt has a slit in front and a small train in back. Shown on a size 2 but should fit up to a medium comfortably.
Shoulder: 13" seam to seam, actual shoulder measurement about 16"
Bust: 36"
Waist: 30"
Hip: 34", fits up to 37" or so
Waist length: 13 3/4"
Length: 51.5" in front, 59" at back of train
Sleeve: 11"
Good condition, material and seams are sturdy. There is some fading, particularly toward the hem and small spots in the skirt toward the hem and a few pinholes. Bodice looks pretty good however and I didn't note any obvious underarm discoloration. Overall it presents very nicely and flaws are not visible under normal home lighting.
