1940s rayon print dress with white and green beaded stripes on a brown ground. Honestly photos don't do justice to this dress. It's quite a showstopper and very figure flattering. Bodice has padded shoulders and and metal zippers at side and the back of the neck. Skirt is a-line and features an interesting draped peplum that twists over the sides of the hips and ends in a sort of ruffle at the back. The original belt is present. The dress is in excellent shape with minimal wear. The belt does display wear but I personally prefer the look of the dress without it~the way the stripes curve over the body look better uninterrupted to my eye. Fits like an xs, fit the size 2 form well. The fabric has some give but the dress also measures up smaller than it actually is so I've included both relaxed measurements and what the dress will reasonably stretch to.
