1940s rayon set consisting of a long length top and gored skirt. Top is a great novelty print in shades of blue, black yellow and pale pink. The bustline is shirred and surplice style which can accommodate a larger cup. There is a waist seam and the peplum flares out over the hips. Sleeves are 3/4 in length and there are no shoulder seams but I do recommend this for smaller shoulders. There is a seam behind the neck that can be taken out to increase the shoulder width a little if desired. It did fit me well in the shoulders but mine are perhaps smaller than average. The top closes with a side metal zipper. The skirt is black rayon crepe and closes with side buttons. Both pieces are in excellent vintage condition with no issues to note. Best suited to an xs:
