1940s rayon jersey dress in a floral print of blue, yellow and red on a white ground. Bodice is surplice style and has an interesting knot/twist detail at the shoulders.Waist is fitted and the skirt is a line featuring stitch pleats. Dress closes with a side button placket. Shown on a size 2 form but should fit up to a medium. Fabric has stretch.
Shoulder: 12.5" seam to seam, actual shoulder area is more like 15"
Bust: 34" relaxed, should accommodate up to a 38" due to the give provided by the style
Waist: 26" relaxed, stretches to 29"
Hip: 36" unstretched, 42" stretched

Excellent condition with light wear, a few popped stitches. It's possible there's something hiding in the busy print but I didn't spot any staining, holes, colorbleed etc.
