1940s chocolate brown rayon crepe dress with salmon velvet details. Bodice has padded shoulders (pinned in, not sewn) and 3/4 sleeves. Covered buttons run down the back and there is a side metal zipper. Skirt is a-line with slanted hip pockets and attached belt with rear slide buckle. There is velvet piping at neckline, sleeve hems and a large trapunto stitched flower over one shoulder. Excellent vintage condition overall. There is a green area of discoloration on the piping of one sleeve and very faint transfer to the hip just opposite that. It is located on the inside/side facing the body so it's not really visible. There is a faint mark just above that, see photo. Otherwise just minor wear commensurate with age. Fits like a small/medium.
