1930s blue velvet gown with a stylized bow collar lined in purple. Sleeves are sort of an elongated leg of mutton with snaps at the wrist. There is a row of hooks and eyes down the back but I think these might've been added later as it seems more likely that the gown had an open back. So for the photos I've left them undone. They are not noticeable and can be fastened or unfastened according to your preference. Raglan style shoulders feature smocking type stitching. The original belt is present. Remember the dress is bias cut so there is stretch.
Bust: 33" flat, should fit up to a 36" or so
Waist: 28"/29" Hip: 34" flat but should easily accommodate up to a 37"/38"
Sleeve: 26"
Length: 59"
Waist length: 15.5"
Belt is 32" long
Very nice condition. There is a spot on the collar and wear and slight fading to the belt. There is some light fade on the tops of the shoulders. Light overall wear but sturdy and very wearable.
