1940s rayon dress and cropped jacket set with matching belt.  Solid fabric is a lightweight crepe and striped fabric is a red/ivory stripe with subtle silver metallic threads. Dress has padded shoulders, a fitted bodice and keyhole neckline with elongated collar.  Fitted waist fastens with a side metal zipper.  Skirt features shirring over the hips, side slant pockets and A-line shape with plenty of ease.  Original wide belt is present.  Jacket is cropped above waistline and has loops around edges except for around the neckline where it's covered by the collar.  It fastens with a single covered button.  The cuffs are the same striped fabric as the bodice.

Set has some light overall wear but is in great condition.  There is one tiny faint spot on and mend on the bodice front.  Belt backing is worn (shiny part has worn off) but is still sturdy and this is not visible when worn.  Presents beautifully!  Fits like an xs.
