Lilli Ann suit from the 1940s or early 1950s. Fabric is pale grey with red flecks and red accents. Jacket is fully lined with padded shoulders, turned back cuffs and self covered buttons. The waist is shaped with darts in front and princess seams in back. Skirt is partially lined and has a straight cut (not a pencil) with a walking vent and metal zip closure.
Suit is in excellent condition. There is discoloration to one of the labels as pictured (this is inside the jacket). The hip area was let out at some point (as indicated by some creases, noticeable only on close inspection) and the waist possibly taken in to fit a curvy figure. There is a fair amount a seam allowance in the skirt to allow for alterations, including to expand the waist if desired. Otherwise the only other thing I noted was a speck on the collar, see final photo.
