1940s navy blue Forstmann wool suit by "Jablow Original' with an M.M. Cohn department store tag. (The M.M. Cohn Company was a Little Rock based specialty department store founded in the 1870s.) Jacket has thick shoulder pads and dolman style sleeves.  Collarless style has an overlapping front that closes with a single small snap and attached braided tie.  There are decorative covered rosette buttons on faux pockets at the shoulders.  Very beautiful detailing which I've tried to show in the close up photos.  The jacket back has a flared peplum.

Skirt is gored and a-line with no separate waistband piece.  There is a side metal zipper and inner grosgrain band.

Both pieces in excellent condition with minimal wear.  I noted a pinhole in one sleeve.
