Mid 30s chiffon dress with matching slip.  Lovely sleeves with heavy shirring at shoulders and slits so that they sit atop the arm in a similar fashion as a cape.  Dress is cut on the bias so there is flexibility in the measurements.  High neckline features a slight cowl and there is underbust seaming.  There is a side snap closure and a single button at the nape of the neck. Belt is burgundy velvet and simply has two snaps for a closure.  There can be moved to the desired location or replaced with a buckle. Judging from the apparent age, I believe the belt to be original.

Shoulder: 12" (the seams are inset, shoulder width is pretty average)

Bust: 36"

Waist: 26" to 28"

Hip: 33"/37"

Length: 45"

Waist length: 16"

Sleeve: 21"

Belt is 33" long with snaps placed at 32"

Very nice condition, I didn't note any fading or obvious holes, just a few pinholes.  Fabric and seams are structurally sound.  There is some faint spots and watermarking to the front of the bodice and below the waist, see last two photos.  They are not obvious and camouflaged by the print. The hem dips at the front of the slip and the underarms of the dress have slight yellowing. Again, flaws are not obvious and dress presents beautifully.  Rare find!
