Late 30s/early 40s emerald green velvet dress, feels like rayon. High neckline with shirring at shoulders and over bust. There is a shaped and fitted waistband and gored A-line skirt. 3/4 length sleeves have cuffs and decorative shank buttons. There are metal zippers at the nape of the neck and on one side.
Dress is in very good condition with a few flaws. Some minor scarring to the velvet but no balding that I noted. There is a dark smudge below one hip that I have not tried to remove, see photo. Otherwise no major issues, just light wear. Seams and fabric are sturdy. Fits like an xs.
