Adorable lightweight rayon novelty print dress from the 1940s. Fabric is slightly sheer but not enough to require a slip in my opinion. Bodice is fitted with a squared neckline and generous ruffle that forms an easy fitting cap sleeve. Skirt is dirndl style with a ruffle just above the hemline. Dress closes with a side metal zipper and there is a matching tie at the waist. Trudy Hall label.
Excellent condition with only minor flaws. There are some faint watermarked areas that get lost in the print. There is a pinhole in the back of the bodice. Otherwise only very light wear commensurate with age. Fabric and seams are strong and colors are vibrant. Two sets of measurements reflect some stretch
