1940s suit in a brown and ivory weave that reads as a taupe  Jacket has princess seams that nip the waist, padded shoulders, front patch pockets and pointed collar.  Slanted buttonholes fasten with a a single button, the other button is fixed.  Jacket is fully lined with original labels present.  Skirt has a back kickpleat and side metal zipper.  Separate waistband fastens with hooks and eyes.  Skirt was altered some time ago to fit a more curvy shape (smaller waist, wider through the hips).  All of the fabric is present however so the waistband can be made larger again and there is a decent amount of seam allowance to alter the skirt to fit.

Very nice condition.  There is a mend (see last photo) in the jacket back near the hem.  Could probably be done better but it's not terribly noticeable as is.  Some very faint pindot sized sports near the jacket hem on front, but these are very hard to spot, I had to really look for them.  They did not show up in photos.

Fits like an xs.
