1930s wine red dress in rayon crepe with burnout velvet on bodice and sleeves. Bodice has a pleated design where there are two panels of velvet overlay with crepe beneath. Long sleeves have a single snap at the wrist and there are two covered buttons at the nape of the neck. Original slide belt is present and there are belt loops on either side of the waist. Skirt is a-line with pleats about 2/3rds down for a fuller hem. Dress is in excellent condition, minimal aging/wear. There is a pinhole in back bodice, see photo. I did have to replace the zipper as the original was beyond repair. Unfortunately I was not able to find a suitable matching metal zipper so the zipper is modern but is expertly put in, it is not visible and does not detract in any way.
Fits like an xs. Please note that because there is a waist seam side zipper opens only so far, the waist portion must pull down over the bust line. I recommend this for a 32" bust or so.
