1940s grey suede platform wedges with peep toes and cutout vamps.  Adjustable slingback straps and rows of studs edging the platforms.  Unfortunately I couldn't make out a label/maker on the insole.   Suede portion/body of shoes are in excellent condition.  There is some wear to the sock liner, worst of which I photographed but this doesn't affect the wearability and is not visible.  Studs have some tarnish and I noted one missing on the heel.  At some point someone replaced the original elastic with a piece of modern elastic that they then partially painted to match.  There would indeed have been elastic here, this looks like a home job.  Actually not really visible when worn and it functions fine, but ideally should be replaced with actual grey elastic.  I've lifted up the strap to reveal the unpainted portion but otherwise it looks as it does  in the second to last photo.  Still very wearable and rare pair of platforms.  Small size, about a 5 or 5 1/2, a 6 could squeeze in possibly as they are not narrow.
