Late 30s/early 40s chiffon gown with ruched bust and puffed sleeves. Bodice has a v neckline and sleeve headers for shape. There is a side Kover type zipper. Skirt is bias cut with a full hemline. Flowers at bust appear to be original to the dress.

Overall excellent condition with some flaws. There are a few faint water marks, the largest at the hip near the zipper. One underarm has an area of discoloration, see photo, the other one does not. Otherwise only minor wear commensurate with age. Flaws are not obvious and gown presents beautifully.
