1940s cocktail dress in black satin by "Young Hollywood". Bodice has a notched neckline and is slim fitting throughout. The skirt is slightly A line with a crossover design for ease of movement. There is a large swag over one hip and dress closes with a back metal zipper.
Very nice condition overall. Some minor wear in the form of small picks/snags to the fabric and pinholes. There is some discoloration in the skirt but it's not very noticeable. I've taken close ups, see final photos. Fabric and seams are strong and dress presents beautifully.
Shoulder: no shoulder seam but pads that extend past the natural shoulder, ending at about 18" end to end
Bust: 32", accommodating up to 33"
Waist: 24" flat, should fit up to a 25" snugly. Form is 24.5"
Hip: 32" flat, will accommodate up to 37"
Waist length: 15"
