1950s two piece dress/suit with an open portrait/ballet neckline. Top buttons down and is slim through the waist. Dolman sleeves end in cuffs with a single button. Skirt is straight with a kick pleat at back. There is a side metal zipper and covered button at the waist. I believe that this set was never worn/deadstock as there is a tag on the outside of the garment next to the wait button, see photo. I don't see any signs of wear either. The top does cover the waistband however.
Excellent condition without any fading, holes, etc. I noticed that the buttons are different colors but I think this is intentional as they all seem to be the same type of buttons. For instance, both buttons on the sleeves are dark green, the ones framing the neckline alternate black and navy. I think this is a design feature.
Set was a little big on the size 6 form, probably better for a modern 8-10 or so.
