1940s unlined housecoat in champagne colored heavy satin. Front has an asymmetrical closure with a button  at top and a snap closure at waist that has button sewn atop. Bracelet length wide cut sleeves with quilting at the hems and along the neckline.  The neckline can be worn buttoned or open as the underside is quilted as well. No belt loops present but this can be worn with a sash if further waist definition is desired. Princess seams on both front and back and the monogram reads "AJL".

Excellent condition with minor wear.  There is a small blemish, about the size of a pencil eraser, at the waist near the snap closure.  It's not a discoloration but picking to the fabric, possibly needle marks.  It is not readily visible.  Petite size, best for an extra small.
