1940s novelty print dress in either silk or a very silky rayon. Print depicts scenery of mountains, trees and houses in black and white with blue and red flowers and Asian lanterns. Bodice has quite a bit of interesting detailing. The neckline closes with snaps with covered decorative buttons on either side. There is diagonals seaming at the waist which creates fullness at the bust. Skirt is a-line and has a side metal zipper. Unfortunately the form didn't fill the bodice out very well and therefore the dress isn't shown to it's best advantage. Would be very flattering on a fuller cup.
Very nice condition, I didn't note any tears, stains etc but there is some color bleed from the blue dye, see photos. Otherwise light general wear commensurate with age.
