1940s cotton floral dress by Joan Miller Junior in a rosebud and hydrangea print. Bodice has an elasticized ruffled neckline that can be worn off the shoulder if desired. Fitted waist with open midriff and back button closure. Skirt is full and accented by a ruffle a few inches above the hemline. Excellent condition. The button at the waist was moved over at some point, you can see where it sat originally, see last photo. Elastic is still stretchy and although the fabric does not stretch, the bustline does because of the elastic at neckline. Fits like an xs.
Bust: 28", stretching to about 34" comfortably
Waist: 24", could fit a 24.5" snugly. It did not close on the form which is rigid, but it will probably close on a human body at 24.5", albeit tightly.
Hip: Free
Length: 40"
Waist length: 14" to top waist seam, 15" to bottom waist seam
Skirt measures 25.5" from waist
