1940s pale gold rayon crepe dress. Bodice has a surplice neckline with shirring at the shoulders and radiating over the waist and hips from a curved side seam. A swag drapes over one hip and wraps around the back on one side. Skirt is a line and dress closes with a full length metal zipper at back. Long sleeves are padded at the shoulder.
Dress is in structurally great shape but has dinginess/faint smudging (from storage probably). This is seen mostly at the shoulders and sleeves. One underarm has a very faint watermark but this is difficult to spot. I've tried to capture all this in the final photo but it's hard to see. Dinginess might lighten with targeted treatment. Otherwise only very light wear. Fabric has some stretch but best for an xs. Fit well on the size 2 form.
Shoulder: 16"
Bust: 32", will fit a 33" especially since the bodice is surplice style
Waist: 24"~ form is a 24.5" and it was snug but not overly tight
Hip: 29" flat but this is somewhat deceptive. The form is a 34.5" and it fit well. I'd say up to a 35"/36" max
Sleeve: 22"
