1950s black straw hat with a shallow crown and wide brim that tapers and fold up at the back. Hat can be worn either at the back of the head or tilted forward for maximum shade. Black veiling encircles the crown and wraps across the brim; a small velvet bow adorns the front of the crown.
Excellent condition with only minor wear from age. Straw is supple. This is a one size fits all style since it perches atop the head rather than fitting over the crown. This style is meant to be secured with a hat pin.
