1950s black silk (I believe, I did not test) dress in a classic New Look silhouette. Fabric is lightweight but opaque and features a slight slub. Bodice has 3/4 dolman sleeves with an underarm gusset for ease of movement. Neckline is scalloped and dress closes down the front with a snaps, a hook and eye and a single lucite button. The skirt is full, releasing from inverted pleats at the waist. Original belt is present. An understated but very elegant and figure flattering dress in excellent condition. Measurements and can be adjusted somewhat by moving the closures slightly.
