Adorable 1940s cotton dress with striped bodice and solid skirt. Bodice is fitted with padded extended shoulders forming a cap sleeve. Small pointed collar and tucks releasing over the bust from the waistline seam for ease. Skirt is A line with curved seams creating pockets and rows of buttons down either side. Original belt is present. Dress closes with a full length metal zipper down the back.
Excellent condition with only minor age related wear. A few imperfections to the fabric, looks to be in the weave itself, that are not really noticeable. The belt has some wear, see close up in photo. I didn't note any staining, holes, etc. Fits the size 2 form well.
