Late 1930 / early 1940s crepe dress in a deep brown rayon. Bodice has a curved yoke with gathers over the bust for ease.  There is a small foldover collar and 3/4" sleeves with small sleeve headers. Functional button front with pyramid stud buttons.  There is also a side metal zip closure.  Skirt is A-line and fabric has some stretch.  Original belt is present and features rounded studs.  It can be worn buckle front or back, I've shown it both ways.

Very nice condition with minor wear.  The fluorescent lights made the fabric appear mottled but it doesn't appear this way under natural night.   No underarm discoloration, stains or holes that I noted.  There is some discoloration to the inside of the collar but this isn't really visible when worn.  See close up photo.  The belt has some wear but doesn't have any missing studs. There are three original holes and then someone must've punched an additional three.  Again, not really visible when worn.  Presents beautifully!
