1940s velveteen dress or redingote in a deep shade of burgundy. Very difficult to photograph unfortunately. Bodice has long, full cut puffed sleeves with button cuffs and small patch pockets at the chest. Skirt is A-line and black velvet buttons run the length, making the dress capable of opening completely. Excellent condition with a few flaws. There are two areas on the edging that have mends, see close up on final two photos. I believe the buttons are modern but they all match and are the correct size. Fabric and seams are strong and I didn't note any stains, balding etc. Fits a size xs to small.
