1940 rayon crepe dress by "Corey". Bodice has smocked shoulders and a snap front with decorative buttons. Puffed sleeves are full with snap cuffs. Fitted waist has belt loops. There is side metal zipper and the A-line skirt is gored.
Dress is sturdy and presents nicely. Color appears to be even and I didn't note any staining. There are some scattered pinholes, a couple small mends and general wear. The most notable is in the skirt front where there is a small mend and some abrasion wear, see final photo. There is an area near the hem that is patched from behind although the face appears fine. Again, overall general wear, dress looks to have been worn quite a bit by the original owner, but has lots of life left and again, presents nicely. I didn't photograph each flaw as they didn't seem to show up well for the camera. See final photos for close ups
