Late 30s/early 40s R&K Originals Dress in a linen weave rayon. Dress isn't not pink as it might look on the monitor, but it is a vibrant color, just nowhere near neon. Bodice has shirring at shoulders, small pads, 3/4 sleeves and a tie at the neck. Skirt has side inset pockets and gathers just below the waist. The waistline is a separate piece that ties to cinch. The dress has a snap front closure and decorative square buttons featuring a blue stone trimmed in gold.
Nice condition. There is some faint discoloration and wear at underarms which isn't really noticeable and not visible when worn. There is also some light discoloration on the bodice which doesn't really show in photos but it's also not readily noticeable either. I have cleaned the dress but have not used any strong detergents/stain removers. The dress was extremely dirty and the spots lightened considerably with light cleaning so it's possible they might lighten further or come out entirely. I don't really see them unless I'm looking for them and the dress presents beautifully and is clean and ready to wear.
