Item condition, sizing, etc

Items in this shop are typically 50 plus years old and are rarely perfect. "Excellent condition" doesn't mean like new, but that an item is in great shape for it's age. I do my best to thoroughly inspect and note any flaws in items I list. I cannot predict wearability of an item but I do my best to describe whether I feel an item will probably withstand regular wear or whether it is fragile. I will also note in the listing if an item should be cleaned or needs repair prior to wearing.
I'm happy to provide additional measurements or answer any questions about sizing and fit of a garment. Measurements given are taken flat with a soft tape with the fabric relaxed. Often times I will list a measurement followed by "with room" meaning that while the flat measurement might indicate one measurement, when tried on, a larger measurement fit comfortably.  I do my best to capture the true color of an item but keep in mind it may vary from what you see on the monitor.  Again, please contact me with any questions. I want you to know exactly what you are receiving and be happy with your purchase.
Returns
All sales are final. Please contact me immediately upon receipt if there is a problem with your order. Because the items in my shop are old, they typically have signs of wear such as pinholes, popped stitches etc. Listings might not indicate each individual flaw but rather general wear. Please do not expect items to be perfect unless I have indicated as such.

I want you to be happy with your purchase so I encourage you to ask questions about an item if you are unsure about sizing, condition, etc.

Shipping

I will ship to the address provided with your order. If you wish to send to a different address then please add a note with your purchase. Please contact me if you have any special notes about shipping. Your order will be packaged with recycled materials whenever possible.  Any plastic packaging will be secondhand:)
International customers may have to pay customs fee. It is against US law to misrepresent an item on a customs form/mark as a gift etc so I cannot mark an item down to avoid potential fees.
For packages that return to me unclaimed or undeliverable, you will have to pay to have the item reshipped. If you refuse a package or don't pay for reshipping the order is subject to a restocking fee of 25% and there will be no refund on the original shipping cost.

Layaway

Layaway is available on listings once they are 24 hours old and over $100.  20% is required to reserve an item, the balance is due within 45 days.  Please contact me if you wish to reserve an item on layaway.
