Late 1930s or early 40s dress in a deep brown. Fabric has a somewhat looser weave give it a soft "spongey" texture with some stretch. It is not see through nor is it itchy. Bodice has a high neckline, 3/4 sleeves with headers in the shoulders for shape. Sleeves are darted at the elbows there is decorative stitching at the shoulders. There are tucks at the waist seam that release over the bust for ease. A line skirt consists of four gores. There are metal zippers at the side and nape of the neck.
Excellent condition, I didn't note any issues aside from some light aging. Belt loops are present but belt shown in first photo is for styling purposes only. The belt is available on my site but not included with the dress.
