1940s postwar two piece dress in a lightweight black moire rayon. Top is fitted with a dagger collar, small shoulder pads, fitted waist and peplum. Button front closure with silver tone buttons featuring a starburst pattern. Skirt is fitted through the hips and full at the hem and closes with a side button placket.
Overall excellent condition with no fading or obvious flaws. There is a small mend in the skirt front (not able to capture it on camera) and some slight wear to the bottom of the placket. Otherwise just very minor wear commensurate with age. Fits like an xs.
