1940s rayon novelty print dress in a dark teal green with a wave pattern in black and bright green seashells. Bodice is fitted with shoulder pads, 3/4 sleeves and an attached cape that integrates into the front in a shirred V design. There is a full length metal zipper at back (beneath the cape) and shirring at back waist for a fishtail effect. There are still dress shields attached to the dress and I've left them in place as they have done a beautiful job of protecting the dress over the years~I didn't note any underarm discoloration.
A store label reading "Mabel French Fashions" is attached to one of the shoulder pads. Excellent condition, colors are vibrant and the design is really quite unique.
